This silver coin is dedicated to Lilli Suburg (1841–1923), a writer, journalist, teacher, and one of the first activists in the women’s movement in Estonia.

The obverse of the coin is designed in a static, portrait style: it depicts Lilli Suburg’s profile, her name, and the years of her life—1841–1923.

The reverse side is decorated with a large coat of arms of Estonia, as well as the inscriptions “Eesti Vabariik” and the year of issue – 2025.

The coin pays tribute and gratitude to Suburg for her pioneering ideas and contributions to women’s education and women’s rights: she founded the first women’s magazine, Linda, encouraged women to learn and realize their potential, and founded a school for girls with progressive teaching methods.
