In 2023, after the coronation of the new King of Great Britain, Charles III, coins of regular denominations with a new design were issued. The updated coin designs represent a historic change in UK coinage.
\nThe overall theme of the new reverses centers around animals and plants from all four countries of the UK. Many of the animals featured in this set’s designs are considered endangered, and some are conservation success stories.<\/p>\n
