The 2024 Summer Olympics, which will take place in Paris, is an opportunity for the Monnaie de Paris to celebrate this major international competition with a series dedicated to sport, its values, athletes, and the heritage of the host country.
\n2024 is the fourth and final year of the quadrology, in which sport and its values \u200b\u200bare celebrated through the Monnaie de Paris collections of coins and medallions. After Marianne (2021), Genie (2022) and the Sower (2023), the 2024 coin features Hercules.
\nThe design of the coin consists of an image of Hercules in combat against the backdrop of Notre Dame Cathedral.
\nThe coin is presented in a sealed coin card. The edition is limited to 500,000 pieces in the Brilliant Uncirculated version (100,000 sets of 5 colors). This \u20ac2 coin will not be released into circulation as UNC.<\/p>\n
