The reverse of the coin depicts an automobile assembly line: workers are installing a body on a chassis, and next to it are already assembled cars from the early 20th century. This scene illustrates a key moment in the history of mechanical engineering. The top of the coin is adorned with the inscription “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and the bottom is inscribed “MICHIGAN” and “AUTO ASSEMBLY LINE”.<\/p>\n
