The obverse of the coin is designed in a dynamic style: silhouettes of marching soldiers are depicted against a blue background reminiscent of the Finnish flag. The years 1939\u20131944 are inscribed at the top, reflecting the period of their participation in the war. The composition conveys movement, determination, and the brotherhood of arms. <\/p>\n
