The national<\/p>\n
musical instrument – steel drum.<\/p>\n
It was invented in the 1930s and originally<\/p>\n
was built from old oil barrels.<\/p>\n
In addition to steel drums, the reverse depicts<\/p>\n
hummingbird, a large bird of paradise brought from New Guinea,<\/p>\n
hibiscus flower, chaconia flower (national flower)<\/p>\n
and a banana palm with the FAO logo.<\/p>\n
The obverse features the national coat of arms.<\/p>\n
