2022 is the second year of a quadrilogy in which sport and its values are celebrated through the Monnaie de Paris coin and medallion collections. After Marianne (2021), the 2022 coin features a Genie throwing a discus overlooking the track and field stadium. The Arc de Triomphe, symbolizing the city of Paris, is also depicted in the background.<\/p>\n
The coin is presented in a sealed coin card. The circulation is limited to 250,000 pieces in the Brilliant Uncirculated version (50,000 sets of 5 colors). This 2 \u20ac coin will not be issued in rolls.<\/p>\n
