The first set of coins with the new coat of arms of Rwanda<\/p>\n
In this complete set of Rwandan franc coins<\/p>\n
two novelties are presented: the first bimetallic coin of the country<\/p>\n
and the national coat of arms of Rwanda, introduced in 2001.<\/p>\n
It is depicted on all obverses of coins.<\/p>\n
The central elements of the coat of arms are<\/p>\n
traditional agaseke basket, cogwheel,<\/p>\n
as well as the sorghum plant and the coffee plant.<\/p>\n
Like the motifs on the reverses of the coins, they symbolize the country’s economy.<\/p>\n
In addition to sorghum and coffee, the reverse shows<\/p>\n
banana plant, tea plant and corn cob.<\/p>\n

pointed cap woven from sisal fiber<\/p>\n
