2 euro Portugal 2025 – World Scouting BU

The coin is dedicated to World Scouting. The design of the iconic heraldic lily and the mottos “Always Alert” and “Always Ready” celebrates the values of leadership, responsibility and camaraderie embraced by Scouts around the world.
Scouting is a youth movement using the scouting method, which became widespread in the first decade of the twentieth century. It follows a non-formal education scheme emphasizing practical outdoor activities including camping, forestry, water sports, camping, hiking and sports.
