A fearless warrior, a descendant of Ragnar Lothbrok, Björn Ironside wrote his name into the sagas of valor and glory. Legend has it that his body was so strong that no enemy blade could pierce it.
Björn Ironside one of Ragnar Lothbrok’s sons, reached Gibraltar in 859 and sacked the Mediterranean coast of Morocco. His path then lay to the Balearic Islands and Provence. In 862 Björn returned to Britain, ruining Valencia on the way back.
