On the obverse of the banknote is the DC-3 OH-LCH aircraft, one of the most popular aircraft in the history of world aviation — about 16,000 copies. The Packard in the foreground of the banknote was the official vehicle of the Finnish Marshal Mannerheim, Commander-in-Chief of the Finnish army in the Winter and Second World Wars.

The zero-euro backside depicts the best-known European architecture and art objects.
