10 yuan China 2025 – Monkeys

A commemorative coin from the People’s Bank of China (PBC) for 2025, part of a series dedicated to China’s natural national parks. Each coin highlights the uniqueness of a specific natural feature or species.

The obverse of the coin features the coat of arms of China, the year of issue, denomination and name of the country.

The reverse depicts a scene dedicated to the Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park, one of China’s largest natural forest reserves. The main design element is the gibbons that inhabit these forests. The background also features natural landscapes of the area: the Wangquan River, mountains, and other ecosystem features.
