The collectible coloured coin is dedicated to the city of Trenčín, which was chosen as the European Capital of Culture in 2026.

The coin depicts the city’s main historical landmark, the silhouette of Trenčín Castle, as well as elements symbolizing art and culture—an artist’s palette with a brush, a movie camera, and theatrical masks.
