On the obverse side of the banknote is Museum of Glass in Riihimäki. The museum reflects the history of glass over the past four thousand years and the three-century history of the national glass industry. The collections mainly include household, decorative and artistic products of Finnish masters of the 18th-21st centuries.

The zero-euro backside depicts the best-known European architecture and art objects: (left to right) Brandenburg Gate, Big Ben, Eiffel Tower, Colosseum, Sagrada Familia, Manneken Pis and Mona Lisa.
