2 Euro Malta 2020-Skorba Temple Complex (BU)

The obverse of the commemorative 2 euro coin depicts the ruins of the Skorba temple complex, located in the north-west of Malta. At the top of the coin is the inscription “SKORBA TEMPLES 3600-2500 BC”, and at the bottom is the name of the country” MALTA “and the year of issue of the coin”2020”. Also nearby is a terracotta statuette found in Skorba.
