Porvoo, Borgo is a commune in Finland and a small town located 50 km east of Helsinki. It is the oldest city in Finland after Turku. On the front side of the banknote is Johan Ludwig Runeberg, a Finnish poet of Swedish descent who wrote poetry of national romantic content in Swedish.

The zero-euro backside depicts the best-known European architecture and art objects: (left to right) Brandenburg Gate, Big Ben, Eiffel Tower, Colosseum, Sagrada Familia, Manneken Pis and Mona Lisa.
