For the first Moneyfair, the MIF Organisation chose a location in the heart of Europe: Maastricht and its MECC Congress center. Maastricht is a university city in the south of the Netherlands, famous for its medieval architecture and vibrant cultural life.
The zero-euro backside depicts the best-known European architecture and art objects: (left to right) Brandenburg Gate, Big Ben, Eiffel Tower, Colosseum, Sagrada Familia, Manneken Pis and Mona Lisa.
