On the occasion of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Monnaie de Paris pays homage to this renowned international competition with a collection dedicated to sport, its values, athletes and the heritage of the host country. Olympic and Paralympic Games are celebrated.

This coin is dedicated to the sport of judo.

On the front side, special attention was paid to the processing of postures and positions in order to convey the concentration of the athlete and the intensity of the moment. On this coin, judo is depicted with a throw. The reverse side of the series shows a view of Paris, where the Seine looks like an athletics track. The Eiffel Tower rises above the city and illuminates the competition. The PARIS2024 emblem completes this composition.
