On the occasion of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Monnaie de Paris pays homage to this renowned international competition with a collection dedicated to sport, its values, athletes and the heritage of the host country. Olympic and Paralympic Games are celebrated.
The obverse of the coin features the new emblem of the French team: an overhead view of a rooster with a determined look, personifying the French spirit.
The reverse is divided into two parts: on the one hand, the rooster emblem is placed across the entire surface, and on the other hand, several fragments are depicted, symbolizing the French national team.
