10 rubles Russia 2022 – Rylsk (series “Ancient cities of Russia”)

Obverse: on the disk in the center – the denomination of the coin: “10 RUBLES”, inside the number “0” – hidden images of the number “10” and the inscription “RUB” visible alternately when the angle of view is changed, below – the trademark of the Mint; on the ring at the top there is an inscription: “BANK OF RUSSIA”, at the bottom – the year “2022”, on the left and right on the outer ring there are images of laurel and oak branches, respectively, the elements of which go to the disk.

Reverse: relief image of the panorama of the city of Rylsk with a view of the Assumption Cathedral; on the ring around the circumference – relief inscriptions, at the top: “ANCIENT CITIES OF RUSSIA”, at the bottom: “RYLSK”.

Rylsk is a city in the Kursk region of Russia. It is one of the most ancient cities in Russia. The first mention of Rylsk dates back to 1152.
