2 Euro 2017 Malta-Solidarity and Peace (BU)

This is the second commemorative coin in the value of 2 euros of the Maltese series “Children and Solidarity”, which started in 2016 and will be valid until 2020. As with every coin in this series, the design was selected from a competition among schoolchildren in Malta.

The obverse of the 2 euro commemorative coin depicts two children holding the Maltese flag and a peace dove flying above them. The name of the state “MALTA” is printed at the bottom, and the year of issue of the coin “2017”is indicated on the right.
