2 euro 2020 Belgium – International Year of Plant Health

The coin will be released under the auspices of the International Year of Plant Health.

On December 20, 2018, the United Nations proclaimed 2020 the International Year of Plant Health. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Secretariat of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC), in which this body is located, welcomed it, according to the FAO Deputy Director General.
