2 Euro 2020. Slovakia – 20th anniversary of joining the OECD (BU)

Organization for economic cooperation and development (OECD) The organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an international economic organization of developed countries that recognize the principles of representative democracy and a free market economy.

On the national side of the commemorative coin is a silhouette of a human brain consisting of printed circuit boards. In the center of the brain is a circle that marks the microprocessor. In this way, the authors tried to embody the concept of digital humanism. At the bottom right is the coat of arms of Slovakia. In the square, write the reason for issuing 2 euro – “20. VYROCIE” and “VSTUP SR DO OECD” (i.e. “20 years” and “joining the OECD”).

On the left side is the mint sign. There is also a sign of designer Peter Valach. At the bottom, indicate the issuing country and the year of issue of the coin (“SLOVENSKA 2020”). There are 12 stars of the EU flag around the circle.
