2 euro Belgium 2022 – Thanks to the healthcare workers

The coin serves as a reminder that Belgian healthcare workers have sacrificed their health and sometimes even their lives in the fight against the coronavirus over the past two years.

The obverse of the coin features the inscription “Thank you” in the country’s three official languages: French, Dutch and German.

It also features a masked nurse and pictograms of a cross, heart, syringe, and stethoscope as a reference to healthcare.
