2 euro Spain 2023 – Presidency of the Council of the European Union Proof

The coin is dedicated to the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU, which will begin in July and last until the end of 2023. All EU member states chair the Council of the EU on a rotating basis. The country changes every six months. In the first half of 2023, Sweden presided over this body.

On the obverse of the coin, in the central part, there is the official logo of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
