The coin’s reverse features an eternal flame, symbolizing the memory of fallen heroes. The ornament on the number “80” symbolizes the victory ribbon and is designed in a style echoing elements of the National Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The obverse of the coin depicts the coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, at the top is the inscription ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ with elements of national ornament along the edges, and at the bottom is the denomination of the coin.
