The coin is dedicated to the Ukrainian people. The design represents a spark of courage that can destroy any obstacle. The coin was issued for the 32nd anniversary of Ukraine’s independence.

Obverse: a stylized composition symbolizing Ukraine, the image of which is embodied in the symbol of the trident, which is “at the forefront” of time, modern trends, social processes, the attention of the world and the public, the creation of a new world history.

Reverse: a stylized composition symbolizing the courage and heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people: in the center of the composition is a star shining with new hope (a symbolic parallel is the star of Bethlehem).
