The set consists of two banknotes – 10 and 20 Egyptian pounds.

The front of the 10 pound note features the Al-Fattah Al-Alim Mosque in the New Administrative Capital. It is one of the country’s most famous mosques and the burial place of members of the Egyptian royal family. The back features the Library of Alexandria, a winged sun disk with serpents, the Pyramid of Giza, and Queen Hatshepsut.

The front of the 20 pound note features the Mohammed Ali Mosque in Cairo, one of the capital’s architectural landmarks. The back features Queen Cleopatra, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and Ramses II in a war chariot.
