2 euro 2017. Monaco – Carabinieri

The internal disk depicts a soldier of a company of carabinieri in the uniform of the 1800s and an officer in a modern full dress uniform. In the background is the princely palace. Above along the edge of the disk is the name of the issuing state “MONACO”. He is bordered by the signs of the Paris Mint (cornucopia, left) and the head of his engraving workshop (Yves Sampo, pentagon, right). The inscriptions along the bottom edge of the disc are in two lines: “◊ 1817—2017 ◊” and “CARABINIERS DU PRINCE”.
