The complete first set of coins since the fall of Gaddafi.

To survive in the inhospitable wilderness of North Africa,

Berber peoples throughout history

created impressive buildings and structures.

Some of these relics of the past

presented in this complete set of Libyan dinars.

These are the first coins issued after the fall

Muammar al-Gaddafi in 2011.

The obverse depicts a well used to irrigate fields,

fortified village of Xar Kabau, palm tree and

mausoleum in the ancient Roman city of Heris.

In addition, on each obverse

hidden crescent image

and the star of Islam – the main motif of the national coat of arms of Libya.

The reverse shows the denominations.
