Coin set – Macedonia

The complete and only set of coins

called Macedonia.

In the north of the historical region of Macedonia,

world-famous mainly thanks to

ancient king Alexander the Great,

today is an independent republic.

After a long naming dispute

due to Greek ownership of the southern part of the region

the name of the Republic of Macedonia was finally

officially changed to North Macedonia in 2019.

This is the complete and only set of coins

Macedonian denar under the old name of the country.
