The obverse depicts a Paraguayan soldier, a woman with a jug,

Eugenio Alejandrino Garay, Jose Felix Estigarribia,

Jose Eduvigis Diaz, Bernadino Caballero and Francisco Solano Lopez.

The reverse depicts denominations, soybeans,

cotton plant and head of cattle, each with the FAO motto

“ALIMENTOS PARA EL MUNDO” (food for the world), Akaray Dam,

the ruins of the Humaita fortress, as well as the Central Bank building

and the National Pantheon in Asuncion.
