Coin set – Sudan

Complete first set of coins of the second Sudanese pound.

The pyramids of Meroe are not as large as their Egyptian counterparts,

but there are many more – more than 900 have survived to this day.

They were built around 300 BC.

on the obverse of the 10 piastres coin

Others depict an old jug, the national coat of arms,

ankole cattle, peace dove

and the building of the Central Bank.
