The Estonian commemorative coin is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Tartu Peace Treaty in 1920. According to the treaty, the Soviet Union unconditionally recognizes the independence and autonomy of the Estonian state, renouncing all rights, including property, that previously belonged to the Russian Empire. Estonia undertook not to present any claims to Russia arising from the fact of its former stay as part of Russia.

The coloring of the coin was made by a private company. This product is not an official bank issue and is not a means of payment.
