This collectible coloured coin from the “UNESCO World Heritage Sites” series is dedicated to the city of Salamanca, located in western Spain and part of the autonomous community of Castile and León. This city is one of the country’s most important cultural and historical centers. In 1988, its historic center was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The coin depicts the Dominican Church and Monastery of San Esteban, as well as the monument to Christopher Columbus, highlighting the city’s rich historical and spiritual heritage.
