Gold coin 100 kroon Estonia 2009 – Song and Dance Celebration

In 2009, the 25th general song festival and the 18th dance festival took place in Estonia.
The 2009 song festival was named “ÜhesHingamine” (breathing together) and marked 140 years since the first song festival. The dance festival of the same year was called “Meri” (sea) and celebrated 75 years since the first dance festival.

The coin depicts a scene at the Song Festival Grounds in Tallinn, where a song festival has been held to this day since 1928.
