Portugal 2 euro 2020 – 730th anniversary of the University of Coimbra (BU)

The University of Coimbra is the oldest University in Portugal and one of the oldest in Europe. It was founded in 1290 by a decree of king Dinis I Magna charta delegiorum in Lisbon, and later moved to Coimbra, where it is currently located.
