Silver coin $1 Australia 2024 – Perth Mint 125th Anniversary

The Perth Mint opened on June 20, 1899, at the height of the Western Australian Gold Rush. Refining the gold and minting 106 million sovereigns over the next three decades, he continued to produce huge numbers of Australian coins circulating between 1940 and 1984. Reflecting the most famous modern coin series, this coin features a kangaroo, kookaburra and koala artistically arranged among the branches of the golden wattle tree, Australia’s national flower emblem. The inscription “1899 THE PERTH MINT 2024” is located in a scroll at the bottom of the design. Also included is the mint mark “P125”.
