Miina Härma (1864-1941) – Estonian composer, organist, choral conductor.
Miina Härma is known not only as an organist and an active participant in the musical life of Estonia, but also primarily as the director of the choir at Estonian song festivals and as a composer. She wrote about 200 choral works, distinguished by their lyrical tone. In addition, she wrote three books of songs for choirs and several famous adaptations of folk songs. Her songs are still performed at Estonian song festivals, including the compositions “Ta lendab mesipuu poole” (1922) with lyrics by Juhan Liiv and “Tuljak” (1898) with lyrics by Karl Ferdinand Carlson.
