Silver Coin 10 Euro France 2025 – Notre Dame Cathedral

In 2025, the Paris Mint (Monnaie de Paris) celebrated the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris to the public by issuing a commemorative 10-euro coin, forever engraving the outline of this masterpiece of Gothic art.

The cathedral has stood on the Île de la Cité for over eight centuries, yet remains a place of religious and spiritual pilgrimage to this day, attracting millions of visitors from all over the world, making it the most visited monument in France and Europe.

The obverse of the coin features a full-length image of the cathedral’s western façade, with a prominent rose window between its two towers. The official logo of Notre-Dame de Paris also appears on the coin’s rim.
