€69.00 includes 24% VAT
This silver coin is dedicated to the Estonian volunteers who fought on the Finnish side from 1939 to 1944 and helped resist the Soviet Union’s attempts to occupy the country during the Winter War and Continuation War.
The obverse of the coin is designed in a dynamic style: silhouettes of marching soldiers are depicted against a blue background reminiscent of the Finnish flag. The years 1939–1944 are inscribed at the top, reflecting the period of their participation in the war. The composition conveys movement, determination, and the brotherhood of arms.
The reverse side is adorned with the Estonian coat of arms, framed by oak branches—symbols of strength and resilience. Around the rim are the inscriptions “Eesti auks, tuleviku pandiks!” (“For the glory of Estonia, for the future!”), as well as “EESTI VABARIIK” and the year of issue.
The coin expresses memory, respect and gratitude to those who fought for the freedom of two fraternal peoples.
