Silver coin 2 dollars Canada 2023 – Polar Bear

In 2023, the Royal Canadian Mint is launching a new series of two dollar silver coins. The first coin in this series is dedicated to the polar bear.
The change from the $2 bill to a coin in 1996 opened up new possibilities for Canadian coinage. The bimetal coin depicted a polar bear, later named Churchill.

In this series, 6 coins will be issued: a polar bear, a loon bird, a coat of arms, a caribou deer, a Bluenose sailboat, a beaver.
