3 ruble silver coin Russia 2021 – Theater

On October 12, 2021, the Bank of Russia issued a commemorative silver 3-ruble coin “100th Anniversary of the Yevgeny Vakhtangov State Academic Theater”. The logo of the theater, created for this anniversary, is depicted on the coin. The portrait of Yevgeny Vakhtangov, which is placed at number 100, is based on a famous photograph taken in 1918.
A silver coin with a denomination of 3 rubles (the mass of the precious metal in purity is 31.1 g, the fineness of the alloy is 925) has the shape of a circle with a diameter of 39.0 mm.
On the obverse and reverse sides of the coin, there is a protruding edging along the circumference.
On the obverse of the coin there is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, there are inscriptions: “RUSSIAN FEDERATION”, “BANK OF RUSSIA”, coin denomination: “3 RUBLES”, date: “2021.
The reverse side of the coin features the logo of the theater’s 100th anniversary, partially in relief.
