Silver Coin 5$ Cook Islands 2022 – In memory of Queen Elizabeth II

The coin is dedicated to the memory of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Elizabeth II came to the throne on February 6, 1952, and thus was the longest-lived and longest-reigning British monarch, the longest-reigning female head of state in history, as well as the oldest and longest-reigning head of state.

Obverse: On the reverse, the late monarch is depicted facing forward with a sweet smile on his face, wearing pearl earrings and a necklace, and wearing a dress with lace. The Queen wears the Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara, which she inherited from her grandmother Queen Mary in 1953.

Reverse: Portrait of Her Majesty the late Queen Elizabeth II, facing right. This classic depiction of the monarch was created by award-winning British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley in 1998.
