Niklavs Strunke (1894-1966) – Latvian painter. Strunke’s paintings are distinguished by such styles as cubism and modernism. He was also known as a graphic designer and designer of numerous books and publications.
The obverse shows a fragment of the painting “ Self-portrait with doll “(1921) Niklav Strunke. The inscription NIKLĀVS STRUNKE, located in a semicircle, at the bottom left, year 2019 and the inscription LATVIJA on the right. The reverse features the painting Man Entering the Room (1927). The inscription 5 EURO, located in a semicircle, is located at the bottom right.
