Silver Coin 5 euro Latvia 2025 – “Flow”

The “Straume” coin is dedicated to Latvia’s most award-winning animated film, which depicts a fantastic yet challenging journey. The 2024 animated film, directed by G. Zilbalodis, has won numerous awards at various film festivals, including an Oscar.

The obverse of the coin features the main character from the animated film “Flow”—a dark gray cat with large yellow eyes. At the bottom of the coin, along the left edge, is a semicircle inscription in English, “Flow,” and on the right, in Latvian, “Straume.”

The coin’s reverse introduces the remaining characters from the cartoon—a dog, a cat, a capybara, a lemur, and a bird. At the top right, in a semicircle, is the inscription “5 EURO” and the year “2025.”
