In tribute of Malta’s endangered species, Germania Mint is presenting a new collector’s coin featuring the Maltese bull (Gendus). This historic cattle breed, once widely used as a draft animal, has become nearly extinct, with only a few individuals remaining, none of which are fully purebred.

The obverse of the coin depicts the head of a bull, surrounded by flowing lines symbolizing the wind, creating a sense of movement and lightness, while emphasizing the strength and majesty of the animal.

The reverse of the coin features the Coat of Arms of Malta, the year of issue, and inscriptions about the weight and fineness of the silver, all presented in a harmonious composition characteristic of this series.
