Set of 5 coincards 1 euro Vatican 2025 – Holy Doors (N°5 – N°9)
€75.00 includes 24% VAT
A series of coin cards is dedicated to the Holy Doors, an important element of the Catholic Holy Year (Jubilee Year). During normal times, these doors are sealed from the inside. Their opening by the Pope marks the beginning of the Jubilee Year and symbolizes spiritual transition, forgiveness of sins, and the path to hope.
The numbering of the cards corresponds to the historical order of opening the doors:
Card No. 5: Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican.
Card No. 6: Holy Door of the Basilica of St. John Lateran on the Lateran Hill.
Card No. 7: Holy Door of the Basilica of Saint Mary the Great.
Card No. 8: Holy Door of the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls.
Card N°9: The Holy Door in the Rebibbia prison complex as a unique symbol of hope and second chances.
At the bottom of each blister pack is embedded a regular Vatican 1 euro coin from 2025 bearing the coat of arms of Pope Francis.
