Obverse: A mid-air snowboarder performing a trick called the “Melon grab” against a mountainous winter skyline inspired by the landscapes of Vermont.

Reverse: Statue of Liberty in profile with the inscriptions IN GOD WE TRUST and “$1”. Year of minting, mint mark and the inscription “E PLURIBUS UNUM” are applied to the edge of the coins.
