2.50 Euro Belgium 2026 – Draft Horse

In 2026, the Royal Mint of Belgium will launch a new series dedicated to the country’s indigenous animals. The first issue features the largest representative of Belgian fauna – the Belgian Draft horse, also known as the Brabant. This impressive breed has been prized for centuries for its strength, endurance, and calm nature, and is today considered an important part of Belgium’s cultural and agricultural heritage.

The coin’s design conveys the power and movement of a horse, placing it in a characteristic rural landscape. The background composition creates a sense of movement, emphasizing the animal’s strength and energy. The issue is presented on a colorful coin card in two language versions.
